Elephant
In this Order of Things, life isn't ever good. Sometimes we
feel captured in a strange trap. Events manifest to us like
a dark spiral. There, it is very difficult to understand
what is right and what is wrong. It is necessary to
understand that big in the heart of the abyss, like a mirror, that
behind all we call sorrow, there's a precious part of ourselves
that wait to be caught. But, everything have this season,
and every action have this time. For example, the Dead
Elephant was born when the Elephant Man project died, in
2004. Formed in Fossano, a bored small town in the north of
Italy, this power trio in a few times has met the popular consensus
for their incredible energy onstage.
The result is Dead Elephant kicks ass.
The loud sonic assault of the band has a whole range of
influences that passing through Noise, Hardcore, and Experimental
define their own meaning of Heavy music always played with passion
and urgency.
Someone said Dead Elephant reminds the meeting of Neurosis and
Jesus Lizard. Crushing heavy parts with the disjointed
rhythms like early Capt. Beefheart...
In 2006, they will release "Sing the Separation e.p."
for the American Unfortunate Miracle Records (March) and another
e.p. for the the French Gaffer Records (Summer?).
The Dead Elephant is Enrico Tauraso (Voice, Electric Guitar),
Fulvio Grosso (Voice, Electric Bass), and Flavio Panero (Drums).
